With the art work of the Route 22 Artisan Trail obtainable in the gift shop, visitors are able to be connected with the artisans while increasing awareness of the region's artistic heritage by making it available for purchase.

Enjoy magnificent water and mountain views at Pennsylvania's largest lake. Raystown Lake offers picnic areas, beaches, boat launches, campgrounds, trails, hunting and fishing opportunities, marina concession stands and is operated and maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers. The Raystown Lake Visitor Center provides information on accommodations, outdoor activities, dining, events and more. In addition to the available mementos of this beautiful lake, the artwork of the Route 22 Artisan Trail also serves as a celebration of the craftsmanship and artistic talent existing in our communities as well.



Servello Gallery

Servello Gallery was planned in part to be a destination that observes the heritage of Altoona. It also celebrates the career of painter, illustrator, sculptor, and muralist Joe Servello. Many of his paintings are in public collections. Public murals have been commissioned in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Glen Cove, NY. Servello has illustrated more than 50 books. While known for illustrating children's books he has also worked with jacket art cover for well-known authors including Tom Clancy, Sue Grafton, Oliver North, and Janet Evanovich. The gallery now welcomes the work of local and regional artist including many Route 22 artisans.
